Nashville’s new mixed-use neighborhood, Fifth + Broadway, boasts a dynamic restaurant hall that showcases the diverse local culinary scene while infusing the city’s thriving entertainment district with performances by top local and global talent. Designed by Gensler, Assembly Food Hall is the first in the city center and the largest in the country. The 110,000-square-foot culinary and entertainment facility, consisting of 23 unique food stalls offering a wide range of local and international cuisines, creates an eclectic array of dishes to suit every taste.
The Assembly Food Hall, which occupies the second and third floors of the Fifth + Broadway retail block, offers five different venues to create an atmosphere of constant discovery that leaves guests wanting more. Its second floor branches into two different buildings connected by a pedestrian bridge. On the north side of the second level, the main bar is located next to the stage, which provides an intimate performance venue for young local artists, while the controlled door system opens up a space for sharing music with the city and offers visitors spectacular views of downtown Nashville.
The sprawling, multi-story restaurant wonderland is a game-changer for Broadway visitors and downtown residents with more than 30 new dining establishments and bars featuring familiar Nashville names and new items imported from other cities, ranging from casual Mediterranean cuisine to crepes, pizza and cocktail bars. More than 20 restaurants, 10 bars, a full-service restaurant and a large rooftop live music venue overlooking Broadway fill the vast 100,000 square foot dining space.
Assembly Food Hall will open in two phases in March and May. In the first phase of the opening, only North Hall Eateries (located in the lobby of 501 Commerce) are open in Assembly Food Hall.
The Assembly Food Hall is accessible through the Fifth Avenue entrance in the Fifth + Broadway complex, across from the Ryman Auditorium. Guests are required to comply with Nashville’s mask requirements and maintain social distancing. Follow the elevators upstairs.
